YWAM PursuitsNZ Ministry is located at the Crystal Springs Base in Matamata, which is about 2 hours south of Auckland. This is a rural township of around 12000 permanent residents (6000 rural & 6000 township), set close to the hills of the Kaimai Ranges. The local township is nearby offering a wide range of services and is within reasonable distance to key tourist locations in the mid-north Island, namely Taupo, Tauranga, and the mountains ... Matamata is a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet for worshiping God, and is within easy reach of our many outdoor activities.

Crystal Springs
Crystal Springs was originally a holiday park with hot pools sourced from the natural hot springs on the property. The premises are now owned by YWAM Family Ministries. Family Ministries NZ and YWAM Pursuits both run schools from this location. It is set on park-like grounds, surrounded by farmland. There are hot pools next door and the local golf course is in walking distance from the base as well. Matamata township is approximately 3 miles away.

Schools
Currently we run schools in Matamata & Fiji. Our Vision is to start a discipleship training schools in (Raglan, NZ (Surfers DTS), and have a permanent site in Fiji) in the second half of 2010. Outreach focus is the indigenous peoples in the Pacific Region (Australia, Fiji (since 1998), India, and New Zealand. With other options when the Lord determines and we have suitable local leadership.

Starting February ’09 we will be starting the School of Signs and Wonders as part of our Acts 2 Ministry.
