Surfers DTS - Our desire is to ‘plant’
a Surfers DTS at a beach location. Once student applications reach 15-17
then
we will move the surfers to the beach. At the moment the Surfers DTS
is run alongside the Music and Worship and Outdoor Pursuits DTS.

What
will it cost?
The DTS will cost you five and one half months
of your life. A time where you will be radically changed for
the rest of your life. Be prepared to be stretched and challenged.(refer
below for costs)
Registration
The Registration
Fee is $50.00 NZD to accompany the Application Pack. This must be received
before processing of your Application can begin.
DTS Fees
Lecture Phase: $3600 NZD includes tuition and board
plus any ministry travel.
Resource Fee: $600 NZD extra curricula activities and
mid-school outreach.
Outreach Phase: $3,400.00 NZD based on Fiji/NZ Outreach
includes international airfares.
(*Outdoor Pursuits students only add a
further $ 600.00 NZD to cover outdoor instruction, transport & equipment
hire for outdoor activities)

Students
are responsible for: international airfares to & from New Zealand
to attend the DTS; required travel & medical insurance; personal
expenses during the DTS; personal travel & expenses for weekends
off & free time; costs for communications – postage &
internet; Church on Sundays including Love Offerings; and incidental
expenses not included in the fees
Outreach
is currently to Australia, Fiji and New Zealand. The YWAM Pursuits ministry
‘call’ is to the indigenous people groups of the Pacific
region. From time to time we do send ‘pioneer’ teams into
China, India and Japan. The latter options will obviously cost a little
more for international airfares – add approximately $1,000 NZD
for outreach to India, China, and Japan.
