Outdoor Pursuits: Abseiling - my heart raced as I looked over the edge of the cliff we were about to descend. Strapping myself in to the harness I was ready to tackle the side of the mountain. Bumping along the side of the cliff with my heart in my throat praying that Jesus will keep me safe. By the time I know it I’m at the bottom eating my ham sandwich with the rest of my group. Abseiling was completely amazing from the view of the cliff to the plunge down to the bottom. It changed my view of mountains and God said we can move these mountains.

BBQ There are lots of times that we just ‘kick back’ and have some fun. Here we see South African sausages sizzling away, being prepared for a BBQ. These sausages have a very distinctive flavour.

Outdoor Pursuits team sightseeing New Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. The Outdoor Pursuits team get to go out in the weekends to do crazy stuff: caving, kayaking, canyoning, etc.) but here we are just relaxing and admiring the view.

Studying - we love it! Apart from Lectures, there are books to read, book reports to write and journals to keep (where we keep a record of what God is doing in our lives). Each morning we have ‘Quiet-Time’ where we get alone with God, read our Bibles, and prepare for the day. Cool!
